Does Fulshear Soccer have registration boundaries?

Fulshear Soccer welcomes all adults who want to play soccer, regardless of location.

Is FS co-ed?

Players are separated into Mens' or Womens' divisions, whenever possible, to ensure proper game play.

How old do I need to be to play? 

Players must be at least 18 years old as of August 1 2026.
 

Can I request a friend or team?

Yes, you can during online registration.
 

Can I register my team? 

Yes, full teams can register (18 players per team max) through Friend or Team Requests during registration. All rosters must be approved by the league to help ensure proper balance and parity.
 

Does the league provide coaches?

No, but you you're welcome to provide your own coach, if necessary.


Can I coach and play? 

Yes. This is most often how recreational Adult soccer works. 

If I register as a Free Agent, will I be placed on a team in our area?

We do our best to roster players with their address in mind, so it’s very likely they will be on a local team.​​

When do matches take place?

Matches are held on Sunday evenings at our North location, Eagle Landing Park.

Do teams train and how often?

Practices are optional and up to the team to coordinate.

How long is the season?

Each season is 9 weeks long, which includes 8 regular-season games, and a league tournament.

Is there a wait list after registration closes?

Yes. The wait list is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Does FYS have a refund policy?

Yes, full refunds (minus transaction fees) are provided until seasonal registration closes. Contact league@fulshearsoccer.com for more information.

What equipment do we need to purchase?

Players will need shin guards, a soccer ball, soccer cleats, and a water bottle.

What equipment does the league provide?

FS provides each athlete with a full uniform kit, including a jersey, shorts, and socks.

Can spectators or players be ejected?

Yes, Fulshear  Soccer takes behavior very seriously. Inappropriate conduct may result in ejection and further disciplinary action, including permanent suspension. Please report any incidents to compliance@fulshearsoccer.com.

What happens if a referee makes a bad call?
Our referees are US Soccer Certified, however mistakes happen in all levels of sport. We must accept that referees are human and imperfect.

Am I able to speak with the ref?

No, only coaches or team captains may address referees. Remember, all on-field calls are final and there are no replays or reversals.
